A New Timeline for the $LINEUP Token
Lineup Games has officially pushed the launch of its long-awaited $LINEUP token from November 30 to Q1 2026. While delays in Web3 often spark concern, this one comes with a strategic twist. According to the team, a new “unique opportunity” emerged — one that could improve launch conditions, expand ecosystem alignment, and deliver stronger long-term growth.
The studio hasn’t shared specifics yet, but they emphasized that the move will improve access to exchanges, streamline distribution, and sync better with major ecosystem milestones. One of those milestones is the upcoming Diamond Claim Event, which will now land much closer to the token’s revised release window.
For players, this means that your current season progress — whether in tournaments, quests, or campaigns — will better synchronize with the eventual token distribution. In other words, your time investment today becomes more directly tied to the token you’ll earn tomorrow.
What Is Lineup Games?
Lineup Games is a mobile-first studio building the “Lineup Player Network,” an interconnected ecosystem that links gameplay progress, rewards, and identity across multiple titles. The founding team includes veterans from Playtika and COTI, and their backers include Puma, Meta, Sui, and AC Milan — a powerful signal of confidence in what they’re building.
The platform currently features two mobile games:
Gold Striker – available on Android, iOS, Telegram, and LINE
Striker League – a fast-paced soccer game running on Sui
The network has already attracted over 1 million players and generated more than 2 million on-chain transactions. As a broader vision, Lineup Games aims to bring casual gaming, social competition, and on-chain identity together — something very aligned with the direction of modern Blockchain games.
Understanding Diamonds
Diamonds are Lineup’s non-tradable, non-transferable in-game points system. They aren’t a cryptocurrency, nor do they hold financial value on their own. Instead, they serve as a record of your activity, skill, and overall contribution across the Lineup Player Network.
You earn Diamonds by:
Playing Gold Striker
Completing missions and events
Participating in GiveRep social campaigns on X
Progressing through Galxe quests
Referring new players
Soon: contributing on crypto Twitter via the upcoming Yap-to-Earn program
Diamonds matter because they convert into $LINEUP tokens at the end of each season. Your final total determines how much of the token supply you receive during the Diamond Claim Event.
Token Supply and Launch Structure
Lineup Games is taking a conservative, player-focused approach to token economics. At launch, only 16% of the 1 billion $LINEUP tokens will enter circulation. The remaining 84% will unlock gradually over several years.
Here’s the breakdown:
20.5% – Core contributors6-month cliff, 12-month vesting
8.0% – LiquidityFully unlocked at launch
12.5% – DevelopmentUnlocks after 6 months, then vests over 18 months
43.0% – Seasonal bounties and ecosystem rewardsOnly 1% unlocked at launch; the rest vests across 42 months
16.0% – Marketing and treasury24-month vesting period
What’s especially noteworthy is that there were no private rounds. The team emphasized paying contributors in stablecoins whenever possible to minimize pre-launch sell pressure. This stands out in a web3 landscape where early investor unlocks often create volatility.
How Players Earn Diamonds Today
Even with the revised token schedule, the ecosystem remains active — and lucrative for engaged players.
Key earning paths include:
Gold Striker gameplaySpin, compete, climb leaderboards, complete daily and seasonal missions — everything adds to your Diamond stack.
GiveRep social missions (currently paused)Players earned Diamonds by performing tasks on X. A snapshot has already been taken, and rewards will be distributed during the next claim event.
Galxe questsThese quests remain active, with more being added periodically.
ReferralsBring new players into the network and earn bonus Diamonds.
Yap Market (coming soon)Lineup will introduce a Yap-to-Earn feature rewarding users for crypto-related social activity.
Striker League integrationDiamond earning isn’t live yet, but the studio says it’s on the way — a major upgrade that will expand the value of cross-game progress.
Updated Campaign Timelines
With the launch now set for Q1 2026, several ongoing campaigns have been adjusted.
Orange Sunday
This campaign continues through November 30. Using an orange profile picture on X enters players into a chance to win:
1,000 USDC
100,000 Diamonds
Five daily winners, earning 1,000 Diamonds each
Main prize winners will be announced December 1.
A new Orange Sunday-style profile picture campaign will arrive closer to the token launch — this time with double the Diamond rewards.
GiveRep
The campaign is paused after a final leaderboard snapshot. Rewards will be distributed during the Diamond Claim Event, and a refreshed version is set to launch in early 2026.
Galxe
Still active, with additional quests scheduled leading up to the token release window.
How the Player Network Works
The Lineup Player Network is designed to link all of the studio’s titles into one shared ecosystem. A great performance in Gold Striker can improve your position in Striker League and vice versa. Diamonds act as a universal reputation metric — a unifying layer across the entire network.
At the end of each season, Diamonds convert into $LINEUP tokens. Holding $LINEUP unlocks expanded rewards, special events, and access to deeper ecosystem features across all Lineup titles.
What Comes Next?
The team hasn’t revealed the exact Q1 2026 date yet, but all current progress remains valid. Campaigns will continue rolling out, more Diamond integrations are on the way, and Lineup says the new schedule allows for a more stable, more synchronized launch.
For now, players can continue grinding Diamonds through active games, quests, and social missions — with the confidence that every point will matter once the new claim event arrives.
