XOCIETY has officially stepped into Postseason 1, and this new phase is doing much more than simply filling the gap between major seasons. Instead of downtime, players are getting a two-week window packed with experimentation, progression, and meaningful rewards — all while the foundations for Season 2 are quietly being laid behind the scenes.
Running from January 28 at 04:00 UTC to February 12 at 02:00 UTC, Postseason 1 reframes how players interact with the game. Ranked pressure is paused, creativity is encouraged, and time spent in-game still directly contributes to long-term growth. For fans of competitive blockchain games, this is a smart example of how seasonal transitions can stay engaging rather than disruptive.
What Is Postseason 1 in XOCIETY?
Postseason 1 is best described as a strategic reset rather than a break. Competitive Matches are temporarily disabled, but XOCIETY’s core gameplay remains fully accessible. Players can still jump into Unrated Matches, explore maps, refine mechanics, and test loadouts without worrying about ranked ladders or seasonal stress.
This design gives players breathing room. It’s a chance to improve fundamentals, learn choke points, experiment with pacing, and prepare mentally and mechanically for the next competitive season. Importantly, nothing feels wasted — progression is still very much alive.
Playing Without Ranked Pressure Still Matters
One of the smartest moves during Postseason 1 is how XOCIETY treats in-game progression. Credits earned during Normal Matches don’t lose their value. Instead, they can be converted into MOTUS, ensuring that every match played during the postseason still pushes players forward.
This approach rewards time investment without forcing players into high-pressure ranked environments. It’s a player-friendly design choice that fits well within modern blockchain gaming philosophies, where engagement and ownership matter just as much as pure competition.
A Reward Pool Built for More Than Just Pros
Postseason 1 comes with a total reward pool of $5,000 in $XO tokens and 50 Frontier Avatars. Rather than concentrating rewards only at the very top, XOCIETY spreads incentives across performance, consistency, and creativity.
This structure ensures:
Competitive players have clear goals
Active players are rewarded for dedication
Creative players can earn without grinding leaderboards
It’s a model we’re seeing more frequently across top-tier blockchain games, and it works because it keeps the ecosystem inclusive.
Gameplay Rankings and Competitive Categories
Gameplay rewards during Postseason 1 are divided into three distinct ranking categories, each highlighting a different style of play.
Overall Ranking rewards all-around performance across gameplay metrics.
1st place: $530 in $XO + First-Grade Frontier Avatar
2nd place: $500 in $XO + Random Frontier Avatar
3rd place: $470 in $XO + Random Frontier Avatar
Ranks 4–100: Entry into a raffle for 21 Random Frontier Avatars
Combat Performance Score focuses entirely on in-match effectiveness and clutch combat skills.
Top three players earn $420, $330, and $250 in $XO, each paired with Frontier Avatars based on placement.
Activity Rank rewards consistency throughout the full two-week period.
1st place: $300 in $XO + First-Grade Frontier Avatar
2nd place: $230 in $XO + Random Frontier Avatar
3rd place: $170 in $XO + Random Frontier Avatar
All rankings are tracked live through the official XOCIETY leaderboard, keeping competition transparent and engaging.
Content Creation Becomes a Core Pillar
Gameplay isn’t the only way to earn during Postseason 1. XOCIETY continues to lean into community-driven creativity with dedicated video creation rewards.
Two categories are open to creators:
Clutch Moments, focusing on standout plays and intense encounters
Best Wrap-Up Gameplay Video, rewarding overall presentation, pacing, and atmosphere
Across these categories, 20 creators will each receive $40 in $XO and a Random Frontier Avatar. Everyone selected receives equal rewards, reinforcing accessibility and creative diversity.
Video Events and Community Judging
On top of creator rewards, XOCIETY is running separate Video Events for the top 10 submissions in each category. These events distribute:
$800 in $XO
20 Frontier Avatars
Submissions are shared on X and then posted in the XOCIETY Discord, where they’re judged by the mod team and developers. Criteria include creativity, gameplay quality, editing, and overall impact.
If fewer submissions are received than expected, unclaimed Frontier Avatars stay in the project treasury — a small but important detail that preserves long-term reward integrity.
How Rewards Stack Across Categories
One of the most appealing aspects of Postseason 1 is that rewards can stack. Players aren’t limited to a single path. You can earn:
Gameplay rewards
Activity rewards
Content creation rewards
All at the same time. First-Grade Frontier Avatars are reserved for top placements, while Random Frontier Avatars ensure broader distribution across the community. Final rankings are locked at the end of the event, and players can qualify in multiple categories simultaneously.
Preparing the Ground for Season 2
While players are grinding, creating, and experimenting, the XOCIETY team is actively preparing Season 2. The studio has already hinted at meta shifts, gameplay system updates, and refined reward structures, using Postseason 1 as both a reward phase and a live testing environment.
For now, players can enjoy stress-free matches, meaningful on-chain rewards, and a strong sense of community momentum. XOCIETY is live on the Epic Games Store, and Postseason 1 is already underway.
As the Frontier Arena transitions, Postseason 1 sends a clear message: XOCIETY isn’t just building a competitive shooter — it’s building a sustainable, community-first experience that fits perfectly within the evolving world of blockchain games.
