Blockchain collectible card game Berserk is gearing up for its highly anticipated third season, which is set to launch on March 8th, according to game developer Vulcan Forged. The latest installment of the popular game is expected to feature a range of new cards, gameplay updates, and dynamic prize pools, offering players the chance to win massive rewards, including booster packs, NFT cards, and PYR and LAVA tokens.
Berserk is set in the Vulcan Universe and allows players to compete in fierce and fun battles to climb the leaderboard and earn XP. In the upcoming Season 3, players will have access to a new set of 24 cards called "New Beginnings," which will be available for free and locked as NFTs after the season ends. All existing Vulcanites will be playable, and players can also use rented Vulcanites to compete.
Active players will receive a 1-day subscription pass granting them access to curated cards, XP boosts, and unique cosmetics. Additionally, the team has introduced a dynamic prize pool that grows in proportion to the number of active players, starting at $50k and increasing to $75k and $100k upon reaching 2k and 6k active players, respectively. To be eligible for prizes, players must have at least a Level 2 My Forge account.
The latest update will also feature updates to the game's prize structure, including a combination of Starter and Mythic Leagues, allowing free players to compete without daily limits on their LAVA earnings. The XP rate will also increase permanently to 20 – 6 W/L, and players will get 100 XP whenever they win 10 battles in a day.
With new cards added to the game, players may encounter new formidable meta in Season 3, including the Myrmidon Armour card, which negates 100% of all damage for a set number of hits, forcing opponents to alter their attack strategy.
Vulcan Forged's Berserk Season 3 promises to be a thrilling addition to the popular blockchain game, offering players the chance to compete for massive prizes and experience new gameplay updates.
