Treeverse Returns Ahead of Season 2

 Treeverse

Web3 MMORPG Treeverse is officially back online, and this time, it’s available across Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android. After a relatively quiet relaunch earlier this month, players can once again step into its open fantasy world and start exploring. More importantly, this return sets the stage for Season 2, which is now expected to arrive in January 2026.

If you’ve been watching the evolution of modern blockchain games, Treeverse’s comeback is worth paying attention to. Let’s break down what’s live right now, what’s coming next, and why this moment matters for both new and returning players.

Treeverse World Is Live Again Across All Platforms

Anyone can now download Treeverse and jump back into the game on PC or mobile. The relaunch was confirmed via Immutable’s official X account, signaling that the servers are fully open and stable once again.

This isn’t just a soft reopening. It’s a clear signal that Endless Clouds, the studio behind Treeverse, is nearing what they’ve described as the biggest milestone in the game’s development so far. Since the end of Season 1 in May, the team has been focused on backend improvements, system reworks, and polishing core gameplay features.

Now, with the world live again, players can explore freely, test mechanics, and get familiar with systems before Season 2 reshapes much of the experience.

Daily Quests Are Now Live on Immutable Play

Alongside the client relaunch, daily quests for Treeverse are live on Immutable Play. These quests reward players with Immutable points, Gems, and other incentives, giving everyone a reason to log in consistently.

The tasks range from simple actions—like following updates or watching developer interviews—to more hands-on challenges such as clearing dungeons or completing the first quest in Lorwick. It’s a smart mix that helps onboard new players while giving veterans something productive to do.

All progress can be tracked directly through Immutable Play, and once Season 2 launches, even more quest types are expected to roll out.

How Treeverse Got Here: A Multi-Year Journey

Treeverse has been in development for several years, with Endless Clouds providing regular transparency through monthly dev blogs. According to their December update (#48), the journey began in 2021 with the launch of Nftrees, followed by land plots and the Treeverse Pixel release later that year.

Key milestones followed quickly:

  • Mid-2022: First major trailer

  • January 2023: Pre-alpha launch

  • July 2023: Capsule Heroes introduced

  • Early 2024: Treeverse Care Package and Immutable partnership

  • January 2025: Season 1 launches for NFT holders

  • April 2025: Public rollout on Epic, Android, and iOS

  • July 2025: $END token goes live

This steady progression has brought Treeverse to its current state—ready for its most ambitious update yet.

What Season 1 Taught the Team

Season 1 ran from April to May 2025 and served as Treeverse’s first real large-scale test. The reward pool was substantial, featuring 150,000 $IMX, 1.25 million $MON, 375,000 Immutable Gems, 20 ETH, and 2.76% of the total $END supply.

Around 3,000 players qualified for rewards, providing the team with valuable data on gameplay flow, progression pacing, and system stability. Once the season ended, Endless Clouds shifted focus away from live events and toward deeper development.

Now that the game is live again, anyone can jump in, catch up, and prepare before Season 2 redefines the experience.

Major Gameplay Changes Coming in Season 2

Season 2 is shaping up to be a transformative update. One of the headline features is a full combat rework, with weapons like the Great Sword, Bow, and Sword & Shield receiving major balance and feel improvements. Monster AI is also being overhauled for more engaging encounters.

Player progression is getting a complete redesign. Talent trees, crafting stations, resource nodes, quest boards, and shops are all being updated. Dungeons will introduce new challenge rules, while bosses will drop loot with unique visuals and effects.

On the interface side, players can expect a new hotbar, improved quest tracking, updated world and mini maps, and a brand-new wardrobe system. That system may even support Timeless NFTs. On top of that, over 25 new pets and mounts are being added.

$END Token and the New NFT Shop

Season 2 will also introduce Treeverse’s NFT Shop, where players can use $END tokens to purchase exclusive assets. These include cosmetics, collectibles, and items tied to future campaigns.

According to founder Loopify, multiple sales and partner drops are already planned, all centered around $END. This gives the token a much more active role in the in-game economy and strengthens Treeverse’s position among evolving blockchain-powered games.

Engineering, UI, and World-Building Improvements

Behind the scenes, the technical team has been busy refining quests, UI systems, and dungeon flow. Dungeon doors now function properly in Wolf 1, reward chests have been added, and around 30 quest-related bugs were fixed recently.

The UI has received a full visual overhaul across shops, crafting, skills, party systems, and dungeon completion screens. Mobile and PC layouts now have custom designs, along with full UI audio support.

World-building continues as well. New regions like the Kenryos desert are in development, Slimy Swamp now features a safe camp, and additional unannounced areas are being tested internally. Visual effects are also being optimized to improve performance, especially on mobile devices.

Why Now Is the Best Time to Jump In

Before Season 2 launches, another full progress reset is likely. However, players who participate now may unlock items that carry over post–Season 2, making this window especially valuable.

With today being December 31, all signs point to a January Season 2 launch. Treeverse is live, playable, and evolving fast—making this the perfect moment to explore its world and see where one of Web3’s most ambitious MMORPGs is headed next.
