Alongside the arrival of icy-themed Winter Edition cards, the platform has released the first-ever football version of Quick Play — a fast, flexible game mode that gives players a shot at a share of $20,000. How the New Winter Quick Play Mode Works

Winter Quick Play transforms Sorare’s usual fantasy league gameplay into a fast, streak-based challenge. If you’ve played Quick Play on Sorare NBA, the mechanics will feel familiar.

Two streak windows split the event:

• Window 1: December 2–15

• Window 2: December 16–January 1

To enter, you must select 1–3 Winter Edition cards. Each card has its own target score, calculated as 10 points above the player’s L15 (their average score across the last 15 matches). If a player’s L15 is below 35, the target is set to a flat 45 points.

Hit your targets to advance:

• Pass a level → move forward

• Miss your target → streak resets to Level 1

You can reuse the same cards or switch them out at any time, as long as they’re not locked in another event or listed on the market.

Level rewards include:

• Level 1: $2 in Market Credits

• Level 4: $200 in cash rewards

• Level 5: Entry into the grand prize pool

Make it through all five levels in a streak window, and you’re in.

Chase a Share of the $20,000 (or $30,000!) Grand Prize

Anyone who completes all five levels during a streak window secures a portion of the $20,000 prize pool. The reward is shared among all qualifiers, so you don’t need to be the fastest — just consistent enough to clear the streak.

If no players complete all five levels in the first window, the second window’s pool increases to $30,000, making the challenge even more rewarding. Payouts may come in cash, ETH, or other crypto assets, depending on Sorare’s final distribution method.

Note that once a real-world match ends, Sorare finalizes scores five minutes later. Any stat updates after that cutoff won’t affect your Quick Play results.

What You Need to Join the Event

Participation is simple, but a few rules apply:

• You must be 18+ and have a Sorare account.

• You must own at least one Winter Edition card.

• Cards must be free to use — meaning not listed, locked, or placed in another lineup.

• Any card scarcity works (Limited, Rare, Super Rare, Unique).

• Scoring bonuses like XP boosts or collection bonuses do not apply to Quick Play.

Once you lock a card into a level, it can’t be used elsewhere until you complete or fail that attempt. Trying to remove it early will immediately cancel your streak.

No Deadlines — Play on Your Own Schedule

One of the most refreshing aspects of Winter Quick Play is its flexibility. There are no fixed game weeks. You can start a level any time your chosen player is about to play. Want to attempt one level a day? Perfect. Want to blitz all five in one afternoon? Also possible.

Battle for Rewards in the Rare Winter Colosseum

If you hold higher-scarcity cards, you’re in luck. Sorare is also hosting the Rare Winter Colosseum, exclusive to Rare, Super Rare, and Unique Winter Edition cards.

This event spans two Game Weeks:

• December 5–9

• December 12–16

You’ll need:

• 3 Winter cards

• 2 Classic cards

• No Essence, and no special score bonuses (except the 20% captain bonus)

Rewards include $300 for first place, smaller cash prizes for top finishers, and XP or Essence for lower ranks.

Spin the Frozen Wheel for Daily Bonuses

Until December 25, players get one free Frozen Wheel spin per day, with bonus spins available through auctions and Instant Buy. Rewards include:

Every 10 regular spins grants a Golden Spin, which has boosted reward potential.

Craft Winter Cards With the Snowglobe Shuffle
