If you’ve been keeping an eye on the growing world of onchain shooters, you’ve probably noticed the excitement building around SOL451. And now the game is leveling up in a big way: it’s officially moving to Immutable zkEVM, a platform built specifically to power the next generation of web3 gaming. For anyone exploring innovative blockchain games, this is a move worth paying attention to.
Below, we break down what this shift means, how the game plays, what the roadmap looks like, and why players should consider wishlisting it on Epic Games now.
A Major Step Forward With Immutable
The announcement came on Sunday, confirming that SOL451 is partnering with Immutable, the studio behind one of the most robust zkEVM ecosystems in web3. While the rollout details aren’t public yet, past integrations suggest we’ll see SOL451 appear on Immutable Play, followed by leaderboard events and additional competitive layers.
This partnership couldn’t come at a better time. SOL451 is currently in Stage 3 of its development roadmap—a phase focused on gameplay polishing, finalizing NFT assets, and preparing the game’s $RELIC token for testing.
A Shooter Built Around Fast Thinking and Adaptive Play
At first glance, SOL451 looks like a familiar multiplayer FPS: guns, teams, and fast-paced engagements. But the deeper you go, the more it distinguishes itself.
The game doesn’t just reward good aim; it rewards awareness, timing, and the ability to change your strategy on the fly. Whether it’s swapping abilities, adjusting perks, or even changing factions mid-match, SOL451 lets players continuously adapt their approach.
You begin every match by choosing one of three factions, each equipped with unique abilities. Before entering the arena, you select two augments for each ability—pulled from a pool of six—which means your build can look completely different from match to match.
Even better, SOL451 lets you change your augments and abilities mid-match. If the enemy team counters your style, you don't need to wait for the next round—you can pivot instantly.
This level of flexibility gives players an edge if they know how to read the battlefield.
Ability Systems That Shape Every Fight
Abilities in SOL451 are more than passive buffs—they’re fight-defining tools.
Some of the early examples include:
Prismatic Shield – deploys a protective dome
Phase Shift – lets you blink out of danger
Active Camo – grants temporary invisibility
These abilities can turn the tide of a fight, whether you’re setting up a push or surviving an ambush. And because you can swap factions mid-match, the tactical possibilities are enormous.
This adaptive design isn’t common in arena-style shooters. SOL451 pushes you to stay alert and respond to enemy strategies in real time.
Weapon Variety and Over 1,000 Perk Combinations
The weapon system is just as customizable as the abilities.
SOL451 features six primary weapon types, each with strengths, weaknesses, and its own perk loadout:
Chimera – a balanced assault rifle
Hydra – high fire rate pressure weapon
Leviathan – long-range, heavy-hitting rifle
Cerberus – close-range shotgun
Basilisk – slow but powerful revolver
Phoenix – quick-switching sidearm
On top of this, SOL451 includes over 1,000 perk combinations. These perks can boost shield damage, reduce cooldowns, or even interact directly with your abilities. Some perks—like Problem Solver or Explosive Dividend—can dramatically alter how your weapon plays.
Once you dial in a build you love, you can mint your weapon onchain, turning it into a tradable NFT usable in ranked play.
Casual, Competitive, and Full Onchain Progression
SOL451 splits its game modes into two main categories.
Casual Modes (Free to Play)
Team Deathmatch
Free For All
Domination
Capture the Flag
Zero Hour
Competitive Modes (NFT-Gated)
Ranked Versus
Zero Hour Competitive
Tournaments
Ranked gameplay uses an ELO system, ensuring fair matchmaking and rewarding consistent performance. With the Immutable integration underway, leaderboard events may appear soon—though nothing has been confirmed yet.
$RELIC: The Core of the SOL451 Economy
The upcoming $RELIC token powers the game’s entire onchain economy.
Players will use it to:
Mint weapons
Enter ranked events
Participate in tournaments
Unlock premium rewards
Engage in crafting and trading systems
One standout feature tied to $RELIC is Black Market Bounties—high-stakes gameplay challenges with major rewards. These bounties test specific skills like controlling objectives, playing under pressure, or surviving tough scenarios. Completing them can earn you rare items, cosmetics, or exclusive perks—all fully tradable.
Everything you earn in SOL451—perks, skins, weapons, and more—can be bought, sold, or traded in the player-driven economy.
Pre-Alpha Testing and Strong Early Feedback
SOL451 ran its first pre-alpha from August 29 to September 8, restricted to a single map (Holdout). Matchmaking wasn’t available yet, so players organized matches through Discord.
Even in this early state, feedback from testers helped the devs refine ability balance, weapon behavior, and perk synergy. Testers also earned exclusive titles and emblems that will carry into the main game.
Roadmap: Stage 3 and Beyond
Stage 3—the current phase—focuses on:
Completing core game production
Finalizing the first NFT collection
Building crafting and trading systems
Testing $RELIC across the in-game economy
Stage 4 and 5 will introduce:
Internal systems testing
Bounty system development
$RELIC testnet launch
Closed alpha
Marketplace launch
Season 1 production
Open alpha
SOL451’s pipeline shows a long-term commitment to building a competitive, onchain shooter from the ground up.
