Shatterpoint is stepping back into the spotlight — and this time, the game is entering a decisive phase that will shape its long-term future. After parting ways with Open Loot in September and fully migrating to the Base network, the team is gearing up for a packed schedule, fresh content, and the long-awaited $POINT token launch. With Season 2 starting on December 10 and Season 3 lined up for early 2026, players are about to experience a major shift in how they play, earn, and compete across one of the most active blockchain games running today.
In this article, we break down everything coming next — from new maps and PvP updates to Sparks, tokenomics, and the massive TGE waiting just around the corner.
Season 2 Arrives December 10
After a two-month rebuild and full migration to Base, Shatterpoint is finally ready to launch Season 2. Running from December 10 to January 5, this next chapter includes upgraded map design, better matchmaking, stronger leaderboard incentives, and a renewed focus on rewarding consistent gameplay.
The headline addition is Regalia, a redesigned PvP map built to spark more encounters and faster matches. Its smaller pathways and choke points replace the older Moltar layout, creating a more intense, action-heavy environment where every step matters.
But the map update is just the start.
A New Spark Economy for Season 2
One of the biggest changes is how players earn Sparks — the pre-TGE reward currency that converts into $POINT once the token goes live.
Now, every win earns Sparks, even against bots. The system still favors those using Charged Crystals, but casual players finally get a more reliable flow of rewards. This update should make daily play feel more meaningful, especially for those grinding their way through leaderboards or trying to prepare for the TGE.
Speaking of leaderboards…
2 Million $POINT Awaits the Top Competitors
The Season 2 Kaito leaderboard comes with one of the biggest prize pools yet:2,000,000 $POINT reserved for the highest-placed players.
Just like in Season 1, Shatterpoint ties leaderboard performance to Spark farming, PvP activity, and Crystal usage. Players who hit the Top 100 for Kaito activity will take home the largest cuts of the pool — making charged gameplay more valuable than ever.
To help players grow faster, the referral system remains active:
20% bonus Sparks when someone uses your referral code
10% bonus Sparks when you use another player’s code
All bonuses are applied before the TGE, increasing the final haul of $POINT for both new and returning players.

Season 3 and the Long-Awaited Token Generation Event
Season 3 is scheduled for mid-Q1 2026, and immediately after its conclusion, Shatterpoint will finally launch its token generation event. At that moment:
All Sparks earned across Seasons 1–3 will auto-convert into $POINT.
These tokens will be fully unlocked on day one, forming up to 6% of the total supply. The team confirmed that the circulating supply at launch will stay under 10%, including the liquidity provided on Base for open trading.
After TGE, Sparks disappear forever — replaced by $POINT as the game’s ongoing reward currency.
Why Shatterpoint Left Open Loot
Shatterpoint’s journey took an unexpected turn in September. After a strong Season 1 launch through Open Loot, the platform shifted direction and dropped support for several partnered games. Shatterpoint was forced to migrate off the platform, causing a two-month delay.
Season 1 originally included:
PvP Spark rewards
Leaderboard challenges
Boosts from NFTs like Charged Crystals and Cosmetics
A crafting system powered by Dust and Crystal Forges
When Open Loot announced its restructuring on September 25, the team began transferring NFTs, player data, and systems to Base. It was a stressful transition — but ultimately, a positive one. With the migration complete, Shatterpoint now controls its full roadmap without relying on an external publisher.
How the $POINT Token Works
$POINT is built around a fair-launch model. Here’s what makes it stand out:
1 billion total supply
95% distributed to the community through gameplay
0% allocated to the team, advisors, or investors
5% held for ecosystem use, such as liquidity and marketing
No private sales, no early unlocks
No additional minting after TGE
Post-TGE, gameplay emissions will follow a 24-month schedule across 23 planned seasons. This ensures consistent distribution and long-term sustainability without the inflationary pressure common in other blockchain gaming economies.
Understanding NFTs and Spark Farming
Shatterpoint uses three main categories of NFTs:
Utility NFTs
Charged Crystals
Crystal Forges
These directly impact Spark farming efficiency. Crystals must be charged with Dust and offer the largest reward boosts.
Equipment NFTs
These can be dismantled for crafting materials and used to upgrade gameplay setups.
Cosmetic NFTs
These don’t affect matchmaking or combat but provide small Spark bonuses and visual flair.
Matchmaking is based solely on gear power, keeping the PvP environment fair, even when players have rare NFTs.
To maximize Spark earnings, the recommended setup includes:
High-rarity Crystals
All gear slots filled
Consistent daily wins
Charged Crystals kept active and maintained
Season 2 also features a slight boost to Crystal output to match the new bot-and-player reward system.
The Road Ahead
Shatterpoint’s move to the Base network marks the beginning of a new era. Despite the challenges of migration and platform restructuring, the game is now positioned for stability and growth. With three seasons forming the foundation of the token economy and a community-first token model fueling the future, the next few months will be pivotal.
Season 2 begins December 10.Season 3 follows in early 2026.TGE lands right after.
When the token goes live, the entire reward structure changes — Sparks vanish, $POINT arrives, and Shatterpoint enters a new phase built for long-term sustainability and competition.
If you're preparing for the TGE, Season 2 is the perfect time to jump back in.
