The wait is almost over—Project O is back with its third Alpha Tournament, and this time the stakes are higher, the format is tougher, and the rewards are better than ever. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or just stepping into the world of blockchain-powered card battles, this event has something for everyone. Let’s take a closer look at what’s coming this weekend.
A Warm-Up Tournament to Start the Day
Before the main showdown begins, players can join the Ultimate Tournament Preparation practice event. This kicks off at 4:00 AM SGT on Saturday, September 20, giving competitors a chance to test strategies in a single elimination bracket.
Matches are best-of-one.
128 slots are available, with nearly half already filled.
Packs will be awarded even during this warm-up phase.
The practice session isn’t just for fun—it’s a chance to stress-test decks and shake off the rust before the main event starts later in the day.
The Main Event: Alpha Tournament #3
The big stage arrives later that same Saturday. Project O’s 3rd Alpha Tournament begins at 10:00 PM SGT, with check-in opening at 2:00 PM UTC. Unlike the warm-up, this tournament will be played in a double elimination format, meaning players get a second chance even after an early defeat.
Standard matches are best-of-one.
Finals are best-of-three.
Up to 512 players can join, with more than 80 already signed up.
The event is powered by Tourney Bot inside the official Project O Discord, making match setup and reporting smooth and automated.
Rewards for the Winners
Of course, no competitive event is complete without rewards—and Project O is offering a great spread of prizes for those who climb the ranks.
Here’s what’s on the line:
🥇 1st Place: 2x Blueprints + 3x Packs
🥈 2nd Place: 1x Blueprint + 2x Packs
🥉 3rd Place: 1x Blueprint + 1x Pack
🏅 4th–12th Place: 2x Packs each
🎖 13th–32nd Place: 1x Pack each
Blueprints and packs aren’t just digital items—they’re stepping stones in Project O’s growing web3 ecosystem, helping players expand their collections and refine strategies for future tournaments.
Tournament Rules and Player Guidelines
Like most competitive blockchain games, Project O enforces a clear set of rules to keep things fair and organized.
Players must create lobbies with both usernames and match numbers.
Admins should be tagged if opponents don’t show up.
Technical crashes can lead to replays if both players agree.
Score reporting is handled in Discord match threads.
Emotes and light trash talk are allowed, but toxic behavior leads to bans.
These guidelines ensure the tournament remains competitive while keeping the community positive and engaging.
How to Join the Tournament
Getting into the tournament requires a few steps, but the process is straightforward:

What Makes Project O Stand Out
Developed by Koin Games and built on Immutable’s web3 infrastructure, Project O blends the excitement of trading card games with blockchain-powered ownership.
Matches last 7–9 minutes, keeping battles fast and dynamic.
Players bring 13-card decks into 3-lane duels.
The roster includes both original characters and reimagined icons like Winnie the Pooh and the Queen of Hearts.
Collectors can look forward to digital marketplaces, rare drops, and exclusive collector events.
While the focus is on mobile play, these tournaments are currently hosted on PC servers—expanding the game’s accessibility for early adopters.
Immutable and Web3 Integration
Project O’s choice to build on Immutable reflects a broader trend in blockchain gaming. Immutable provides:
Immutable Passport for simple logins.
Immutable Play for pre-launch growth and community engagement.
Tools for digital asset ownership, trading, and marketplace integration.
This infrastructure ensures that Project O isn’t just another card game—it’s part of a new generation of blockchain games that give players real ownership of their collections.

Whether you’re aiming for the top prize or just want to test your deck in live play, Project O Alpha Tournament #3 is the perfect chance to dive in. With hundreds of slots open, generous rewards, and the backing of a strong web3 ecosystem, this weekend marks another important step in Project O’s journey toward full release.
