Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Roadmap

Marvel Rivals is taking a slightly different approach with Season 10.5. Instead of introducing another playable hero, NetEase is giving players something else to chase: Avengers-themed game modes, Halloween events, and a fresh wave of character skins.

The Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 roadmap covers five weeks, running from October 9 through November 13. During that time, players can jump into a new PvP mode inspired by Avengers: Infinity War, a PvE experience based on Avengers: Endgame, several Halloween events, and nine new costumes.

For competitive players, the biggest story might actually be what is missing: there is no new hero during Season 10.5. That means the current meta gets a rare period of stability before Season 11 arrives with a new character.

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Release Schedule

The Season 10.5 content rollout is spread across five weeks, giving players something new almost every Thursday.

Here is the full schedule:

  • October 9: Path to Doomsday — Avengers: Infinity War PvP, Infinity Finale event, and three new costumes

  • October 16: All Hallows’ Glow event and three new costumes

  • October 23: Path to Doomsday — Avengers: Endgame PvE and three new costumes

  • October 30: Night of Illusions Halloween event and Winter Soldier costume

  • November 6: Spider-Man and The Thing costumes

  • November 13: Marvel Rivals Season 11 begins

This makes Season 10.5 heavily focused on events and cosmetics rather than expanding the playable roster.

For players who enjoy blockchain games and live-service gaming, this type of seasonal structure is familiar. Developers can keep communities active with limited-time gameplay, collectibles, events, and cosmetic rewards even when a major character isn't being added.

Avengers Infinity War Brings a New PvP Mode

The first major addition arrives on October 9 with Path to Doomsday — Avengers: Infinity War.

Unlike a traditional seasonal event, this is a new PvP mode directly inspired by the events and themes of Avengers: Infinity War. It gives players a reason to jump into Marvel Rivals immediately when Season 10.5 begins.

The Infinity Finale event launches alongside it. NetEase has previously paired gameplay modes with events, allowing players to experience new content while progressing through additional rewards.

That combination is particularly useful for keeping player activity high. Instead of simply releasing a new mode and expecting players to stick around, the event provides another progression path to work through.

Endgame Turns Path to Doomsday Into PvE

Two weeks later, on October 23, Path to Doomsday changes direction.

The second part, Avengers: Endgame, arrives as a PvE mode. This creates an interesting contrast with the October 9 PvP launch. Players first get a competitive Avengers experience before moving into a cooperative, story-inspired PvE format.

Both parts of Path to Doomsday draw directly from the Marvel films rather than introducing completely unrelated original scenarios.

For Marvel fans, that could make Season 10.5 feel more like a playable celebration of the Avengers storyline rather than simply another collection of seasonal missions.

Halloween Takes Over Marvel Rivals

Halloween is another major focus of Season 10.5.

The first Halloween-themed event, All Hallows’ Glow, starts on October 16. Then Night of Illusions arrives on October 30, putting the second event right around Halloween itself.

The roadmap therefore spreads Halloween content across several weeks instead of dropping everything on October 31.

There are also plenty of themed costumes to collect. The Fate Witches set includes Invisible Woman and Black Cat, while the Midnight Monsters theme covers Mister Fantastic, Deadpool, and Elsa Bloodstone.

Then there is Jeff.

Jeff Gets One of the Wildest Costumes

Jeff the Land Shark receives one of the more unusual costumes in the Season 10.5 lineup: Sharknos.

The October 23 costume combines Jeff's recognizable shark design with a rhino-inspired Halloween look. It stands apart from the darker witch and monster aesthetics while still fitting the seasonal theme.

Other notable costumes include:

  • Devil Dinosaur — Skele-Saurus

  • Blade — Vampire King

  • Cyclops — Phoenix Cyclops

  • Invisible Woman — Fate Witches

  • Mister Fantastic — Midnight Monsters

  • Deadpool — Midnight Monsters

  • Black Cat — Fate Witches

  • Elsa Bloodstone — Midnight Monsters

  • Jeff — Sharknos

The cosmetic rollout continues into November, with Spider-Man's Worthy Spider-Man and The Thing's Cosmic Cook arriving on November 6.

No New Hero Means a Stable Meta

For competitive Marvel Rivals players, the lack of a new hero could be the most important part of the entire roadmap.

Whenever a new character enters the roster, ranked players have to figure out how that hero interacts with existing team compositions, counters, abilities, and strategies. Even a single new kit can shake up the meta.

Season 10.5 avoids that disruption.

The existing roster from Season 10 carries into the new season without a new hero arriving on October 9. That gives competitive players roughly five weeks to refine established compositions and strategies.

For ranked grinders, this could be a valuable window to climb without having to constantly adapt to another character.

Season 11 Brings the Next Hero

The stability won't last forever.

Marvel Rivals Season 11 begins on November 13, and that is when the next new hero is expected to arrive.

There has been speculation around characters such as Doctor Doom and Nightcrawler, but neither has been officially confirmed by NetEase in the supplied roadmap.

Doctor Doom would certainly make sense thematically because the current content revolves around the Doomsday storyline. However, until NetEase officially announces the character, both possibilities should be treated as speculation rather than confirmed information.

Either way, Season 10.5 gives players a useful preparation period before the next major roster change.

A Marvel Tokon Crossover Adds More Flavor

The roadmap also includes an interesting crossover detail.

On October 30, Winter Soldier receives the Celestial Messenger costume. The outfit is connected to Marvel Tokon, extending the Marvel Rivals universe into another fighting-game project.

It is a fun example of Marvel's characters and aesthetics appearing across different gaming experiences, while also giving Marvel Rivals players another reason to check in during the Halloween period.

What Players Should Expect From Season 10.5

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 is less about changing the game and more about keeping the existing experience fresh.

There is no new hero on October 9. Instead, players get an Avengers-inspired PvP mode, followed by a PvE mode, multiple Halloween events, and a substantial collection of new costumes.

The schedule is also nicely spread out. New content arrives throughout October, while the final week leads directly into Season 11 on November 13.

For casual players, that means plenty of seasonal activities and cosmetics to enjoy. For competitive players, the absence of a new hero creates an unusually stable period for ranked play.

The first major date to remember is October 9, when Avengers: Infinity War arrives alongside the Infinity Finale event. After that, the road to Halloween — and eventually Season 11 — is packed with Marvel Rivals content.
