Infinity Rising Adds New PvP Action

Infinity Rising is giving its combat systems a serious boost with update 0.4.3, Three Bridges. Released on August 12, 2026, the latest build introduces a dedicated PvP arena, a new Last Team Standing mode, and three weapons that expand the game's Revolt armory.
For a project that is still firmly in pre-alpha, the update is another sign that Infinity Rising is steadily building toward its planned 2026 launch on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game continues to evolve through regular builds rather than waiting for one massive milestone.
Three Bridges Brings PvP Into Focus
The biggest addition in update 0.4.3 is undoubtedly the new PvP arena. Infinity Rising already features combat throughout its open-world environments, but a dedicated arena changes the experience by giving players a more controlled place to test their skills.
Open-world encounters are influenced by exploration, resources, transportation, and the risks of leaving safe areas. The arena removes much of that uncertainty and puts the emphasis directly on combat.
That makes it particularly interesting for players who enjoy competitive gameplay but don't necessarily want every fight to become a survival adventure.
The new Last Team Standing mode pushes the competitive side even further. With respawns removed, teams have to think carefully about positioning, coordination, and when to commit to an engagement. One mistake can potentially turn the entire match around.
A New Revolt Armory Arrives
The Three Bridges update also delivers a complete Revolt armory featuring three new weapons.
The Instigator is a flamethrower designed for close-range pressure and area denial. It should be particularly useful when opponents are grouped together or when controlling confined spaces.
At the other end of the spectrum is Rebel's Reach, a sniper rifle built for long-range engagements. It introduces a very different combat role, rewarding patience, positioning, and accuracy.
Completing the trio is the RAS-9, which occupies the space between the two extremes. Together, these weapons give the update more depth than a simple single-gun content drop.
For players interested in blockchain games, Infinity Rising is also an interesting example of how Web3 projects can combine persistent worlds, player economies, and traditional MMO gameplay.
What Makes Infinity Rising Different?
Infinity Rising is an open-world sandbox MMO that the developers describe as a multiverse simulator. Its setting stretches from Cornucopias, the nation in the sky, to the ruined Earth below and mysterious worlds beyond.
Humanity has moved above the clouds after conditions on the surface deteriorated, creating a retro-futurist world inspired by the 1960s.
The gameplay is deliberately broad. Players can hunt, fish, gather resources, mine, craft, trade, build, manage land, and participate in the player-driven economy. Combat is available, but it isn't the only path.
Players can instead focus on becoming traders, artisans, or entrepreneurs. Casual activities include apartment customization in Hub City, racing, Holocache, and Rumbleball.
That philosophy is summed up by the team's approach of “play your pace.”
Danger Waits Beyond Safe Zones
While there are plenty of peaceful activities, Infinity Rising also has areas where the risk level changes dramatically.
Outside safe zones, players have to consider the consequences of their decisions, with threats becoming a much bigger part of exploration. This is where the new PvP arena and Last Team Standing mode fit nicely into the larger design.
The arena provides structured competition, while the wider world preserves the unpredictable nature of sandbox gameplay.
That combination could ultimately make Infinity Rising appealing to different types of MMO players. Someone might spend one session trading and crafting, then jump into competitive PvP the next.
From Cornucopias to Infinity Rising
The project has an interesting history. On October 16, 2025, Cornucopias was rebranded as Infinity Rising after the team spent years expanding its vision, art direction, and overall scale.
The developers wanted the new identity to create a stronger first impression ahead of the game's arrival on Steam and Epic Games Store.
Importantly, Cornucopias didn't disappear from the game's universe. It remains the nation in the sky, while the same team, world, and player progress continued into Infinity Rising.
The rebrand also introduced the RISE token, replacing COPI at a 1:1 conversion ratio. RISE operates primarily on Ethereum, with additional deployments and bridging infrastructure involving Base, BSC, and Cardano.
Plenty More Content Is Coming
Update 0.4.3 is only one step in a much larger development roadmap. Existing content includes the 9-by-9-kilometre Calido Valley, Solace zones, racing, mini games, inventory, transportation, economy systems, avatar customization, and basic combat.
Future plans include an Infinity Wallet developed with DFNS, Esperanza zones, expanded building and crafting systems, advanced combat, Rift battles, quests, NPC systems, and additional payment options through Stripe, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
That is a substantial amount of content still in development, especially considering the game remains in pre-alpha.
Infinity Rising Is Still Building
The most important thing to remember about Three Bridges is that Infinity Rising is still evolving. The developers have been clear that the game remains in pre-alpha, but the steady stream of builds shows that development is continuing at a consistent pace.
The planned 2026 release on Steam and the Epic Games Store gives the project a major milestone to work toward.
For now, update 0.4.3 is another meaningful piece of that journey. With a dedicated PvP arena, Last Team Standing, and three new weapons, Infinity Rising is making its combat layer more structured while keeping the open-world sandbox at the heart of the experience.
If the team can continue expanding these systems while maintaining the freedom that defines its world, Infinity Rising could become one of the more ambitious MMO projects to watch as the 2026 release window approaches.
