The world of blockchain games just got even more exciting with the announcement of the Illuvium Pro League (IPL) 2025 — a massive competitive event that offers players a chance to earn a piece of a $250,000 prize pool and secure a spot in a $150,000 Main Event this December. Whether you’re a seasoned tactician or a curious newcomer, this is your opportunity to dive into Illuvium Arena and play to earn like never before.
Let’s break down everything you need to know about the IPL 2025 and how you can get in on the action.
What Is the Illuvium Pro League?
The Illuvium Pro League (IPL) is a season-long competitive format that brings together the best and most dedicated players in Illuvium Arena — the team-based web3 auto battler — to compete for fame, cosmetics, and a large chunk of the $250K total prize pool.
From August 16 to early December, players can compete in ranked games and monthly tournaments to earn IPL Points and Ranked Leaderboard Points (RLP). These points are used to determine who qualifies for the 64-player Main Event in December, which holds the lion’s share of the rewards.
The league is structured to give everyone a chance to earn rewards and qualify — even casual players can secure a place through daily ranked gameplay or by joining open qualifiers.
How to Qualify for the Main Event
Want to take a shot at the $150K Main Event? You’ll need to qualify — and there are multiple ways to do it:
Earn IPL Points by participating in IPL 250 / 500 / 1000 tournaments.
Climb the ranked leaderboard by playing daily and accumulating RLP.
Join the Last Call Open Qualifier in December.
Place high in the Last Chance 24-hour leaderboard sprint for top unqualified players.
Score a Wildcard Invite, reserved for select competitors.
Here’s how the 64 Main Event spots break down:
48 spots from IPL tournaments
4 spots from the Last Call Tournament
4 spots from the Last Chance sprint
4 spots from Wildcard invites
4 spots from the Ranked Leaderboard
If you're serious about competing, you'll want to enter as many IPL tournaments as possible — not only do they boost your chances of qualifying, but they also come with their own prize pools.
Understanding the IPL Tournaments
The IPL tournaments are divided into three tiers — each with increasing rewards and point potential:
🔹 IPL 250
32 players
Open to all
$2,000 prize pool
Up to 250 IPL Points
🔹 IPL 500
64 players
Open to all
$5,000 prize pool
Up to 500 IPL Points
🔹 IPL 1000
64 players
Invite-only
$20,000 prize pool
Up to 1000 IPL Points
These monthly events will run throughout the league, and participation doesn’t require a Battle Pass. However, registration is mandatory, and slots are limited, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible!
What Happens in the $150K Main Event?
The Main Event is the grand finale of the Illuvium Pro League. Sixty-four qualified players will battle it out over two weekends in December:
Weekend 1 (December 6): Top 64 compete for the Top 16 spots.
Weekend 2 (December 13): Top 16 face off, with the best advancing to the Grand Finals.
The Main Event features $150,000 in rewards, including:
Cash prizes
Exclusive in-game cosmetics (Emotes, Illuvitars, Borders, Battleboards)
And of course… ultimate bragging rights
Only the Top 32 players will take home a share of the rewards — so bring your best strategies and strongest Illuvials.
