Fableborne Season 5

Fableborne is turning Season 5 into another major competitive test for players and guilds, with the fight for POWER officially starting on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 10:00 UTC.

The new season has already introduced fresh gameplay systems, units, and improvements to kingdom management. Now, players have a reason to put those tools to work. The POWER race will determine how the season's growing token pool is distributed between individual competitors and organized guilds.

For fans of Blockchain games, Fableborne offers an interesting mix of action RPG combat, strategy, NFTs, and competitive progression.

When Does the Fableborne POWER Race Begin?

Developer Pixion Games confirmed the Season 5 POWER race timing on August 13. While the broader Season 5 update went live on August 12, players have had a short window to explore the new mechanics before the competitive race officially begins.

That timing matters because the POWER race isn't simply about jumping into battles and collecting points. Players need to understand the new systems, optimize their kingdoms, and decide how aggressively they want to compete.

The race also separates the competition into solo and guild leaderboards, giving individual players and coordinated communities their own paths toward rewards.

How the POWER Pool Grows

One of the most interesting parts of Fableborne's reward system is that the POWER pool isn't fixed at the beginning of the season.

Up to 70% of webshop revenue is directed into the POWER pool, while Power Chests are excluded from the calculation. In other words, the reward pool can continue growing throughout the season as players spend.

That creates a dynamic competitive structure. Players aren't necessarily competing for a predetermined prize that everyone knows from day one. Instead, the potential reward can expand as the season progresses.

Season 4 provides a useful benchmark. The previous guild season, which ran from December 8 to December 24, accumulated approximately 1.66 million POWER before it ended.

How Players Earn Glory

The competitive scoring system has several layers, making the POWER race more complicated than a traditional leaderboard.

Players earn Guild Valor through events. That Valor can then be spent on GG Chests, which provide randomized Guild Glory.

Here's the important part: Guild Glory determines leaderboard placement.

For individual competitors, personal Glory influences their rewards. Guilds, meanwhile, compete collectively, meaning a coordinated group can benefit from strong performances across its membership.

Guilds can have up to 50 members, and guild registration is handled through the official guild system. Guild leaders also receive a share connected to member earnings, creating an additional incentive to recruit active players and organize a competitive team.

That makes the system feel closer to a competitive economy than a simple grind-for-points event.

What Season 5 Adds to Fableborne

The POWER race isn't the only reason Season 5 deserves attention. Several major gameplay changes arrived with the update.

The biggest addition is arguably the new equipment system, which uses Glyphs as upgrade resources. These Glyphs can improve different combat statistics, including:

  • Health Regen

  • Movement Speed

  • Added Damage

  • Critical Damage

  • Damage Reduction

Workers have also been redesigned. They now have health bars that influence their effectiveness. This means kingdom management is no longer based entirely on static resource production. Workers can be damaged, potentially reducing their output and making defensive planning more important.

Two new units also join the roster: Guard, a durable melee fighter, and Blob, an unusual enemy that splits into smaller pieces after being defeated.

Season 5 additionally introduces a new campaign and improved pre-raid planning, giving players more control before launching an assault.

Building and Raiding in Fableborne

For anyone unfamiliar with the game, Fableborne is a free-to-play action RPG and adventure title developed by London-based Pixion Games and built on Ronin.

Its core gameplay revolves around two connected activities: building a kingdom and raiding other kingdoms.

On defense, players construct their kingdoms by positioning defensive units throughout different rooms. At the end sits the Throne Room, protected by an Imperial Boss selected by the player.

On offense, players launch real-time PvP raids against other kingdoms. They fight through defensive rooms, collect resources, and ultimately attempt to reach the Throne Room.

Three heroes are currently available:

  • Glint, a durable Paladin specializing in lightning attacks

  • Rift, a ranged mage using elemental spells

  • Shade, a stealth-focused rogue equipped with dual crossbows

More heroes are reportedly in development, giving the game's roster room to expand.

Where NFTs and POWER Fit In

Fableborne's Web3 mechanics add another layer to its progression system.

The ecosystem currently features two NFT collections and the POWER token. Primordial NFTs provide Primordial Essence airdrops and early access to playtests, while Kingdom NFTs represent player-owned lands that can be upgraded and merged.

POWER itself has several uses, including event participation, item crafting, and cross-game rewards within Pixion's ecosystem.

Eligibility is connected to Fableborne Essence, which is divided into four tiers: Primordial, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

Primordial Essence is tied to Primordial NFT ownership. Gold Essence rewards competitive performance, while Silver Essence was connected to earlier web boss battles. Bronze Essence comes from social quests and includes leaderboard-based rewards and NFT-related multipliers.

Fableborne also applies bot and multi-account filtering before determining eligibility, helping maintain a cleaner competitive environment.

Why Season 5 Could Be Important

Fableborne has already built a substantial player base, surpassing 380,000 total players and reaching a reported peak of 108,000 concurrent players.

Pixion Games has also raised $12.4 million in funding, including a $3 million investment from Bitkraft in March. The project previously migrated from Avalanche to Ronin in Season 3, further strengthening its connection to one of Web3 gaming's most active ecosystems.

Now, Season 5 gives that community another competitive target.

The POWER race begins August 17 at 10:00 UTC, and with a reward pool capable of growing alongside webshop revenue, the final prize could look very different from the one available when the season starts.

For players, the message is simple: the kingdom is built, the new equipment is ready, and the leaderboard is about to become the center of attention. Whether competing alone or rallying a 50-player guild, Season 5 gives Fableborne players plenty of reasons to raid, defend, optimize, and chase POWER.
