The world of blockchain games just got a big update as Cross The Ages (CTA) officially migrates from Immutable X to Solana. With this transition comes a wave of new features, changes to game assets, and a push for a smoother, more secure, and more rewarding experience for players and collectors alike. Whether you’re a long-time CTA fan or just diving in, there’s a lot to unpack.
Let’s explore everything this exciting migration brings and why it matters for the future of web3 gaming.
Why Cross The Ages Is Moving to Solana
This migration isn't just a technical switch—it’s a strategic leap forward.
By moving to the Solana network, the CTA team gains more flexibility in building and managing game assets. That means faster transactions, lower fees, and better scalability. Most importantly, it opens doors to more dynamic gameplay mechanics and enhanced investor opportunities.
According to the official announcement:
“The migration to Solana opens a new chapter for Cross The Ages: a smoother, more secure experience brimming with DeFi-oriented opportunities.”
So, if you’re already part of the CTA ecosystem, it’s time to consolidate your assets, select your primary account, and prepare for a better gameplay experience.

All-New Features Coming With the Solana Migration
This isn’t just a backend change. Alongside the Solana migration, CTA is rolling out game-changing features:
Divine Cards: A new rarity class for team and investor-owned assets (formerly called "Exclusives").
SR39 Crafting: A new collectible that can be crafted in-game or via the Portal.
Eternal Multiplier: A new system that boosts your Trisel earnings across the ecosystem.
Flex Cards Retired: Starting Season 4, only Static and Eternal cards will be playable.
New Minting System: Minting will focus solely on Static cards, with costs depending on rarity and requiring $CTA and Trisel.
Authentication Upgrade: New login options via Phantom, Google, Apple, and Epic Games.
KYC-Based Binder System: Multi-accounting is being replaced with a streamlined, single-account system.
Each of these updates is aimed at refining the user experience and making blockchain gaming with CTA more seamless and accessible.
Eternal Multiplier: Boosting Your In-Game Earnings
One of the biggest new mechanics being introduced is the Eternal Multiplier (EM).
This system calculates Trisel earnings based on your collection of Eternal cards—specifically, the Eternal Stones you would get if you shredded them without bonuses. In practice, this rewards players for holding and using Eternal cards, making them more valuable and central to gameplay.
What does this mean for you?
Increased Trisel generation
Incentivized card holding and renting
Greater interaction with the marketplace and $CTA token economy
This is CTA’s way of rewarding loyal players and collectors while simplifying how value is created in-game.
The End of Multi-Accounting: One Account to Rule Them All
Gone are the days of juggling multiple accounts just to earn more Trisel.
With the introduction of the KYC-based binder system, every player will be able to earn maximum rewards from a single account—as long as it’s verified. This system was created based on feedback from the community, who found multi-accounting too complex and time-consuming.
Here’s what changes:
All Trisel earnings will be linked to your primary KYC account
Eternal Cards and VIP level will drive your earnings—not account numbers
Players can now manage all assets in one place, increasing security and ease of use
This shift makes the CTA ecosystem more user-friendly and opens new doors for play-to-earn mechanics, including rentals and token staking.
Goodbye Flex Cards and Hello to a New Minting Era
Season 4 marks the retirement of Flex cards. These will be converted into Static cards by September 25, giving players time to prepare. At the same time, the Forge system on Blast will be discontinued.
Flex Rolls will now become Eternal Stones, which will be used in the updated crafting and minting system. Minting itself will now require $CTA, and depending on the card, you may need Trisel or Eternal Stones too. Alternatively, players can skip minting altogether by purchasing pre-minted Eternal Packs.
Key things to note:
Flex rolls = 50 Eternal Stones
Rank 1 cards need only $CTA to mint
Minting window: 1 year post-Season 4 launch
Cards receive unique numbers at the end of minting season
New Login Options and Migration Rewards
Onboarding has never been easier. You can now create your account using Phantom, Google, Apple, or Epic Games.
For the actual migration, you’ll need a Phantom wallet and complete basic KYC. Mobile users should use Phantom’s integrated browser for a smoother experience.
And of course, early adopters get rewarded! Players who migrate before Season 4 kicks off will receive:
A Palmer or Erika card (random variant)
Entry into a draw for the prestigious Eli’Jah Unique card
Rewards will be distributed after Season 3 ends on September 25.
To start the process, just head to the Portal section of the official CTA website and follow the migration instructions.
