Lumiterra Survival Season Launches on Monad

Lumiterra

A New Era of Web3 Sandbox MMORPGs Begins

Lumiterra has officially launched its Survival Season on the Monad mainnet, bringing four weeks of fully on-chain, play-to-earn MMORPG gameplay to both PC and browser players. Whether you prefer downloading the Windows/Mac client or jumping in through your browser, Lumiterra is opening its largest test phase yet — one that blends progression, rewards, and a meaningful early-game advantage in the expanding Lumi ecosystem.

If you enjoy open-world adventures, survival mechanics, and the freedom found in blockchain games, Lumiterra’s latest season is worth exploring.

What Is Lumiterra?

Lumiterra is a sandbox-style MMORPG that mixes real-time combat, farming, crafting, and exploration with the power of on-chain ownership. At the center of the experience is an AI companion that evolves based on how you play. Fight aggressively? Farm all day? Focus on gathering or exploring? Your companion adapts and becomes a long-term asset tied to your account.

The world blends 2D and 3D visuals, offering systems for:

  • Resource gathering

  • Agriculture

  • Crafting and trading

  • Combat and survival

  • Cooperative team play

  • Minting materials, pets, and items on-chain

Better yet, Lumiterra is fully cross-platform: PC clients for Windows/Mac, a browser version, and later support for Android and iOS.

What’s New in Survival Season?

Survival Season is Lumiterra’s first full chapter on mainnet, launching side-by-side with the Monad mainnet itself. This phase marks the beginning of the Lumi multi-chain ecosystem and introduces:

✔ Full on-chain progression

Every action, item, material, and character advancement is recorded entirely on-chain. Nothing is wiped at the end of the season.

✔ Play, earn, and compete from day one

Progression starts immediately. Because assets carry over, early players gain an advantage for future releases such as LumiTown and Lumipad.

✔ Large-scale community incentives

Players can earn tradable items, Resident Card Puzzle pieces, and the new $LVMON token based on their in-game activity.

✔ Economic stress testing

This season is designed to push the system to its limits before Season II launches after Christmas.

✔ Referral rewards

Invite players, generate activity, and benefit from revenue-based reward pools.

Understanding $LVMON – Lumiterra’s Seasonal Currency

$LVMON is a synthetic version of $MON created with LeverUp. It serves as the main in-game currency throughout Survival Season.

How $LVMON Works

  • Players deposit $MON and receive $LVMON at a 1:1 ratio.

  • It can be spent on marketplace purchases, progression, and core economic loops.

  • Players can freely swap between $MON and $LVMON on Monad DEXs.

  • After Season 1, an official 1:1 exchange system will open for minting and redeeming.

LeverUp allocates part of its $MON to liquid staking strategies, and the yield flows directly into Lumiterra’s prize pools, boosting rewards for everyone participating this season.

Finally, players will receive an exclusive allocation of the $LV token airdrop thanks to the partnership.

Merkl Reward Pool and Player Incentives

A special Merkl reward pool holds 1 million $LVMON for high-quality returning players. To qualify:

  1. Complete the beginner task

  2. Buy one Energy Potion for 100 $MON

  3. Receive the 100 $MON back

  4. Claim a share of the reward pool

All seasonal token rewards are:

  • Distributed through Merkl

  • Visible on-chain

  • Settled at the end of the season

  • Fully transparent with no hidden allocations

Players can view participation, transactions, and final shares directly on-chain.

How to Earn During Lumiterra Survival Season

Lumiterra offers three distinct earning paths — all fully on-chain and designed to reward different playstyles.

1. In-Game Item Conversion & Token Tasks

Players can convert equipment, materials, pets, and items into $LVMON or Resident Card Puzzle pieces depending on their Wealth Value.Token tasks offer direct $LVMON payouts for completing missions.

2. Off-Game Rewards via the Merkl Pool

The 1 million $LVMON Merkl Pool rewards players based on the items they redeem through Merkl. The more participants, the more competitive the final distribution becomes.

3. Referral System Rewards

Inviting players generates Friendship Medals based on invitee spending.Invitees using a referral code also receive a New Player Package during the mainnet distribution cycle.

Every reward mechanism is on-chain and verifiable, keeping the economy transparent and community-driven.
